Welcome to The Nurse's Nook, friends!

The vision for The Nurse's Nook came to me one day while blow-drying my hair, because, come on girls, isn't that where all great vision originates? You never know what lies within the mundane! My desire is this be a place for LIFE! Life beats behind a fortified and healthy body, and the Author of Life gave us a pretty excellent temple within these bones and muscles!

The Nurse's Nook will regularly feature fun, heartwarming, and wacky stories from the bedside- being a nurse with the American public is always fun! I'll also regularly feature health and wellness info, as well as healthy recipes. We'll examine some current health/exercise trends. And of course, because I love Him, God will be woven in along the way! I can't wait!

What I love about working as a nurse is everything wonderfully Americana: the small town and big city folk I meet every day; stories from patients who are veterans now reaching the sunset of their lives- with a wealth of wisdom to offer; how I find God at the bedside almost nightly; and how the hospital teaches me that in all of our differences, we are often very much the same more than we realize.
